Wiedersehen to Dallas For Nowitzki?

The richest and most talented free agent class in NBA history is only about to get richer and more talented.

Sources in the Dallas Mavericks' front office believe that their all-time leading scorer, Dirk Nowitzki, will opt out of his current contract in order to become an unrestricted free agent, for the first time in his 9 year career, on July 1. It's not because Dirk isn't happy, as most believe he will resign with his good friend Mark Cuban and the only NBA team he's ever played for, it's because once a new collective bargaining agreement is reached he will most likely not make as much as the 4 year, $96.2 million deal he can currently get from Dallas.

I think it's safe to say Mark Cuban will do everything in his power to keep Dirk in Dallas this offseason.
