Nerazzurri: Campione d'Europa

"The Special One" hoists the spoils of victory
Behind two goals from Diego Milito and the leadership and direction of "The Special One", Inter Milan was finally able to step out from a 45 year old shadow of previous UEFA Champions League winners. In their wake you will find a trail of defeated champions from their own respective leagues - Chelsea (EPL), Barcelona (La Liga), and today Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) - proving to all of Europe that the 2009-10 Inter Milan squad truly is in an elite class of historic significance.

Today's win makes Inter the first Italian club to win Serie A, Coppa Italia and the Champions League. Only 5 other clubs can boast the feat of sweeping titles in their domestic league, domestic cup and Champions League/European Cup: Celtic (1967), Ajax (1972), PSV Eindhoven (1988), Manchester United (1999), and Barcelona (2008).

Enjoy this one Internazionale!
